Youth Sports Transportation Driver · Contract / Part-time. We're looking for responsible, safety-focused drivers to transport children and teens to practices, games and tournaments — dependable, punctual and supportive people who communicate clearly with parents and coaches.
Key responsibilities
- • Safely transport children and teens to and/or from practices, games and tournaments.
- • Maintain punctual pickups and drop-offs.
- • Plan routes using GPS and adjust for traffic and weather.
- • Keep a clean, organized, child-appropriate vehicle.
- • Assist younger children with seatbelts and equipment bags.
- • Communicate professionally with parents, guardians and coaches.
- • Enforce seatbelt and safety rules for every passenger.
- • Maintain a calm, respectful environment throughout the ride.
- • Update parents on arrivals and delays.
- • Keep accurate mileage and trip logs.
Qualifications
- • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- • Experience working with children.
- • Reliable, insured vehicle.
- • Commercial auto liability coverage for passenger transport.
- • Knowledge of local roads and schools.
- • Strong communication skills and patience.
- • Ability to pass a background check and child-transport safety screening.
Preferred experience
- • Previous child transport experience.
- • Familiarity with school dismissal and athletic logistics.
- • Background in youth sports or camps.
- • Rideshare driving experience.
Schedule
Flexible hours built around practices and games — early mornings through weekends, in varying weather and traffic conditions.
Compensation
Paid per trip, hourly, or on a contracted weekly basis, with additional pay for long-distance and tournament days.
